What is the Material: Extruded Nylon Unfilled is a semi-crystalline material. It is produced using equal parts of two materials, hexamethylene diamine and adipic acid, each molecule made up of 6 carbon atoms, thus the name PA-6/6.

Other Considerations: Extruded nylons absorb less moisture and have a melting point about 70°F higher than cast nylon.
