UHMW-PE Metal Detectable
UHMW-PE Metal Detectable Overview
What is the Material: UHMW-PE Metal Detectable is a semi-crystalline material filled with a metal detectable additive.
Key Material Features: This material is beneficial in applications requiring increased food safety, while maintaining many properties of other UHMW-PE materials including wear resistance, impact resistance, corrosion and chemical resistance, low friction, and low moisture absorption.
Other Considerations: It is detectable using standard metal detection methods. Also the material is visible to systems that rely on optical inspection equipment due to the addition of blue colored pigment.
