Cast Nylon Oil FG

Cast Nylon Oil FG

Overview

What is the Material: Cast Nylon Oil FG is a semi-crystalline material filled with oil lubricant, which is Food Safe.

Key Material Features: This material is beneficial in applications requiring high load capabilities, reduced friction, and where external lubrication is to be avoided, while maintaining the properties of other nylon materials including mechanical properties, wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability.

Other Considerations: Cast nylons are often used as wear parts. The properties of the materials often make them beneficial alternatives to steel and bronze parts. Note: There is a green oil filled Cast Nylon that is not Food Grade, but there is natural colored food grade oil filled cast nylon available.
