Cast Nylon Oil

Cast Nylon Oil

Overview

What is the Material: Cast Nylon Oil is a semi-crystalline material filled with oil lubricant.

Key Material Features: This material is beneficial in applications requiring high load capabilities, reduced friction, and where external lubrication is to be avoided, while maintaining the properties of other nylon materials including mechanical properties, wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability.

Other Considerations: Cast nylons are often used as wear parts. The properties of the materials often make them beneficial alternatives to steel and bronze parts. Note: The featured green material is not Food Grade, but there are food grade oil filled nylon options available.
