G-9 Laminate

Overview

What is the Material: G-9 Laminate is a thermoset material, which consists of glass fabric filled with melamine resin.

Key Material Features: This material is beneficial in applications requiring dimensional stability, electrical arc resistance, chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and abrasion resistance. This material is recommended in wet conditions, where mechanical properties are required.

Other Considerations: Melamine filled are the hardest laminates. G-9 is a substitute for G-5.
