PEEK Metal Detectable

Overview

What is the Material: PEEK Metal Detectable is a semi-crystalline material filled with a metal detectable additive.

Key Material Features: This material is beneficial in applications requiring increased food safety, while maintaining properties of other PEEK materials including wear resistance, dimensional stability, mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance.

Other Considerations: This material is detectable using standard metal detection methods. Also the material is visible to systems that rely on optical inspection equipment due to the addition of blue colored pigment. This material has notable hydrolysis/steam resistance.
